    I've long thought of patriarchy/misogyny in academia as defined in pt by governing assumption that *reputations* of men are more important to keep safe than the *bodies* of women, children, &c. But still utterly shocked & horrified by this--both the deeds & the attempt at erasure

    As a scholar of apocalyptic literature, can’t help but be fascinated by eschatological prediction as re-election strategy—among other things, certainly quite a twist on ancient apocalypses using such predictions to critique imperial power
