Fantastic news . The government scrapped plans last Friday that would have allowed large numbers of badgers to be culled for at least a decade and it is set to launch a much needed fresh review of the policy. The policy is ineffective. Farmers can now turn to focused methods to

Boxing Day is the busiest hunt day in the calendar. There is nothing more sick and twisted than chasing a fox with a pack of hounds with the sole purpose of tearing it apart for pleasure. Trail hunting is a cover for fox hunting, it’s illegal, it’s barbaric and it has to stop.

Beautiful Lou arrived suffering from hypothermia and malnutrition. Here she is quietly sitting and watching the day go by in the hospital. Unassumingly patient just waiting for her chance to leave! They always keep you on your toes and carefully handling is restricted to a few

Lovely Syd is very cautious, still weak and on medication. He now faintly calls for his mum to come, which breaks all our hearts. Please send love & luck and share or donate here to help Syd if you can x hawr.co.uk/2021/10/14/don…

"The only thing you can honestly say about fox hunting is that people enjoy it. People have a sadistic pleasure in seeing an animal ripped apart. It's sadism. To be honest, it's psychopathic behaviour to enjoy the suffering of another creature" ~ Brian May Save Me Trust founder

Please remember to put water out for wildlife. A simple dish of clean water can make a huge difference to hedgehogs, birds – even bees. Place it in a shaded spot, keep it topped up, and you might be surprised by who comes to visit. 🦡🦔🦋🌿🐝

Mamma Mia & her hoglets lost their home in a compost bin when it was taken away. An eagle eyed neighbour spotted them & after a brief stay with us all were retuned home to the old compost bin. Think, check & check again before you remove your rubbish . it's baby season! Xx

It takes two trained veterinary surgeons, a lot of hospital equipment, food, medicine and over 50 volunteers and staff and a lot of determination to care for this tiny little Robin and get her safely back home. Why do we do it? ……because she’s worth it. It’s not only because

This should make you think ! All facts, no spin. We were shocked when the results came back. All the cattle in the fields by the badgers were tb free only the housed dairy had bovine Tb. The only bodily fluid that was leaking btb was the slurry. Btb was living in it and being

Hoglets are still out and about. If you have been feeding all year please carry on, they will be dependant on you. Some hedgehogs don’t sleep in the winter. #hedgehog365 #projectamazinggrace
