    Can we stop using the term “Cambrian Explosion” every time there is a tiny uptick in development within a field. I know you are excited, but comparing the work of like 6 teams focused on a subgenre of blockchain tech to the emergence of thousands of new species is … quite bold

    Coinbase hackers weren’t after funds, they were after identities. How are we okay with still trusting these 3rd party companies with our info - info that becomes more and more sensitive as more of our lives move online (and on chain) ?

    Last week, more than a few people tried to convince me that TEEs were coming for ZK's crown But I think they must not know the properties of TEEs or ZK From where I am sitting, TEEs may come for FHE use cases but seem unlikely to compete with ZK

    IMO if the Zama patents are allowed to stand, then FHE is effectively removed from the hands of OS devs. Sure research could continue in "non-commercial spaces" but like what's the motivation for a researcher to dedicate their life's work to this.
