The ending of Tangled where Rapunzel reunites with her parents is one of the best animated visual storytelling scenes of the last decade. Their faces just read so much emotion that dialogue isn't needed at all.

Turning Red is still comedy gold. Never fails to make me laugh.

I feel so bad for the people at DreamWorks that Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken is bombing horribly at the box office. I did like the film, but Universal really sent the film out to die by giving it only three months of marketing. Like, three months isn't enough time to advertise.

I just noticed how all of Walt Disney Animation Studios movies released in the 1960s have the same sad theme played at one part in the film. I put together a compilation that shows the movies with the theme.

Tangled still has my favorite Gilligan cut in an animated movie. It's still hilarious to this day.

One of the most impressive scenes of the animation in The Bad Guys is easily the opening shot which is an unbroken one shot take and one of the most complicated shots DreamWorks has ever made. It really set up how amazing the animation in the film was gonna be.

The Emperor's New Groove is a perfect example of how to do a joke a minute in an animated movie. Every single joke in this scene really lands and they're all simply hilarious. It really is one of the funniest animated films ever made.

I found some more Pixar intern animation tests where they took the respective actor's dialogue sometimes from other films or TV shows and edited it to the Pixar characters they played. These are just hilarious and fun to watch.
