    Saw this & had to comment. What an amazing privilege to play w these 3 @Cardinals greats. I so admire their baseball skills, but @STLWizard, Willie & Vince treated me like family on & off the field, and as Cards fan growing up in the 80’s from Evansville IN, Dream to be teammates

    I know I’m not privy to the analytics that are available to MLB teams, but I think there has to be something said for the eye test. Taking Q out lengthened game for bullpen just like what the Rays did in WS w Snell bc of 3rd time thru lineup. Call me old school, but Q was dealing

    Privilege to watch live as former teammate @PujolsFive @Cardinals passed Babe Ruth in Career RBI’s on HR #703 in Pitt. He just continues this storybook ending. And what a story it’s been. Congrats my friend!!!

    This day in 1995 the Cardinals signed free agent Ron Gant. I always liked Gant, and remember when he hit 2 homeruns off Tom Glavine in game 3 of the 1996 NLCS. (Note: St. Louis also signed Andy Benes this day in 1995). #STLCards

    I loved watching @Padres the team that drafted me compete this year and in @MLB playoffs. They are young and exciting. It’s hard, tho, to take down the champs. They will in time. Great effort by the friars. Their time is coming and coming soon. The future is bright. #’88draft

    Not sure why, in a rebuild mode, McGreevy was optioned. Only considerations could be options and not wanting to lose anyone or controlling arbitration. He “needs innings before MLB”? MiLB innings are not the same. Let him pitch every 5-6 days and see if you have what you think!
