- Michael Masi determined the outcome of this championship. He used his discretion to interpret the rules in a way they have never been interpreted before to create a restart from which there was only going to be one winner. That is not his job.
- Filmed ailerons of A380 as we came into land at LHR yesterday. Am I the only one sad enough to find this stuff amazing?
00:00 - So sad to report the passing of Norman Dewis at 98. He started work in 1934 aged 14 to look after his mum and basically never stopped. D-type, E-type, MkII, XJ6, the way they drove was his work. And he developed disc brakes for road use. A true great has left us. Rest well Norman
- When I relaunched @Motor_Sport I got a hand-written letter of congratulations from this bloke. 22 yrs later I’m still completely starstruck by Murray Walker. Quick lunch today turned into 3.5hrs of purest joy. Aged 95, he’s as sharp, funny and insightful as ever. Total legend.
- Thanks to the ace new @autocar archive, you can now see in one screenshot exactly what got @MrJamesMay fired nearly 30 years ago. Just read the drop capitals in order. A few of us were involved, but he alone took the rap. Not that his career exactly suffered as a result…
- Just seen @LewisHamilton congratulating Max. Can’t have been easy in those circumstances. What a pro, what a person.
- Ferrari on Kings Road? So what? Right hook manual Ferrari 412 on Kings Road? That definitely got my attention. Rarer, by far, than a 250 GTO.
- So sorry to hear Laura Nuttall has died aged just 23. In 2019 I failed to scare her witless in a McLaren 720S at a wet Silverstone. So cheerful, so positive despite an already terminal diagnosis. An example to all. My heart goes out to @shitscaredmum . You must be so proud of her
- This might be the coolest pic I've ever seen. Thank you @Tankslider
- Believe I am first hack to drive @PorscheGB 911 Turbo S in the UK. Cannot describe the joy of being able to do my job again, however constrained, let alone in a car like this.
