Broad St looking amazing in the sun today. So proud to have had a hand in this. So much more we can do together

Very grateful to OCC officers and engineers, and members of the public, who spent part of their weekend repairing a small amount of damage to traffic calming measures in East Oxford. We will have a robust debate, but vandalism and criminal damage are not acceptable

Mark Harper, the Transport Secretary who put Oxfordshire’s policies in the crosshairs of the Tories’ disgraceful misinformation campaign, has lost his seat. Our vision brings healthier, safer, more prosperous places. People like those things. We will deliver.

That nervous moment when five years’ work arrives in the post in the form of an actual book..

Very good to join residents and others in Howard St this morning. Huge thanks to them for looking out for the safety of local people in response to deliberate damage, and to representatives of TVP, County Council officers and the Oxford Mail for coming to see for themselves

Good to join my City Council colleague Cllr Louise Upton on a quick look at some of the E Oxford traffic installations. Very many thanks to OCC officers and contractors for getting these bollards back in, in Howard St, Magdalen Rd and Leopold St

Glad to see the Oxford Mail confirming that “low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) and zero emission zones (ZEZ) have had success”. You and your children are safer and healthier as a direct result of Oxfordshire County Council policies. More benefits to come

Today, Labour allied with the Tories in a bizarre and amateurish attempt to unpick safe streets in East Oxford, and failed. They annoyed both those pro and anti our policies: quite an achievement. Only LibDems and Greens will deliver a safer, healthier, cleaner, greener Oxford.

Very pleased to have been appointed as County Council cycling champion at today’s Cabinet meeting, and looking forward very much to working with all stakeholders on this vital issue

Sunak and Starmer write themselves into history- leadership passes to the bold. Taking the kids to school doesn’t mean jumping in the car: better lives are more important. Politicians who articulate that will win. Uxbridge makes that more urgent, not less. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi…

I have received an email sent by Mr Jeremy Mogford, appended to one from Mr Peter West and cc’ed to me and others, comparing me to Josef Mengele. This is not acceptable
