Does anyone else find it interesting that large pockets of the sports media have asked us to celebrate a 25 point comeback in the Big 12 while simultaneously encouraging us to question a coach for leaving his QB in with a 28 point lead?

One of the cool things about summer 7 on 7 is getting to see new coverage trends. Today, we saw a really unique one in the Low Red Zone that I hadn't encountered before. It's probably a combination of 'Cone' and Red 2, though I can't be sure.

Observed: Coach Pederson’s 4th & Goal Reverse Pass to QB that we are all hailing as the gutsiest, most brilliant call in memory is the exact call P Fitzgerald made in the Music City Bowl on 4th & G, for which he was universally scorned & reviled by experts & anyone w/ an opinion

I've learned as a coach that the most important thing about the QB pos is that his teammates love playing for him. It can't be faked & can't be replaced, is the clearest reflection of the QB's character. As @CoachNateISU once told me: "I loved my teammates & they loved me back."
Midway through @JaireAlexander's interview, his college teammate @Lj_era8 was selected with the last pick in the 1st round. Here's his reaction:

(1/2) Dear @Rondale_Moore03 : On the date of your signing, I just want to publicly say how excited for you and proud of you I am. You have done some things on the field that we might never see again - but that's not what I appreciate most....it's who you are and who you are...

"The finding of CTE in an individual who not only had no known head trauma, but also showed no signs of dementia or cognitive impairment & was high functioning mentally until his death, highlights that the cause of CTE might be more complex than we assume," Dr Lili-Naz Hazrati said
