California Zephyr Train 6 which departed Emeryville (EMY) on 1/30 is currently experiencing
Real-time service delay information affecting two or more Amtrak trains outside the Northeast Region.
- UPDATE: The rocket has launched successfully, and Coast Starlight Train 11, which departed Seattle (SEA) on 10/26, is back on the move operating approx.40min late.

- SERVICE ALERT: Capitol Limited Train 29, which departed Washington (WAS) on 2/3 will terminate in Pittsburgh (PGH) due to a freight train incident. Train 29 will return to Washington (WAS) and act as customers' drop-off. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Train 14 which departed Los Angeles (LAX) today 6/28, derailed in Moorpark, CA when it struck a water truck obstructing the tracks on its LA to Seattle route. No serious injuries were reported for the passengers or crew. Investigation underway.
- UPDATE: Coast Starlight Train 11 which departed Seattle (SEA) on 2/24 is on the move back to Seattle (SEA). Due to weather conditions, additional delays are to be expected along the route.
- Due to ongoing police activity, all train traffic is temporarily stopped in Chicago (CHI). We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
- As of 2:08 PM CT: California Zephyr Train 5, which is scheduled to depart Chicago (CHI) on 4/4, will be delayed departing Chicago (CHI) due to paperwork issues. We will provide updates as information becomes available.
- As of 5:45pm CT, All services operating out of Chicago (CHI) will experience delays due to an unforeseen bridge inspection. We will update once more information is available.
- Network Communication Update: As of 2:54 PM ET, Rail traffic between New Haven (NHV) and Philadelphia (PHL) has been suspended while crews work to restore power in the New York (NYP) area. Significant delays are anticipated. Updates as information becomes available.
- Due to a nationwide positive train control system outage all trains may experience a delay. We will update when more information becomes available.
