On this day, back in the year 2013 Amazon.in went live for the first time in India. I vividly remember the day when the entire team could fit in one room! It has been an extraordinary journey and even after 7 years, it still feels like Day 1.

- As I approach 22 years at Amazon, I can't stress enough on the importance of patience. It is often an underestimated virtue, especially today, when people plan careers. It tests your humility, resilience, long-term thinking beyond just optics and invention at scale.
- 9 days of pushing our limits one step at a time, my 13-yr-old daughter and I made it to the Kilimanjaro summit! I could not have done it without her constant motivation, unbelievable grit and resilience!
- Our top priority has to be to flatten the curve. Thanks to the central govt for recognizing e-commerce is rendering an essential service to help citizens remain at home, maintain social distancing. We sincerely appeal to local authorities to enable us provide sustained service.
