I hope the guy who ran his kid to death on a treadmill dies the worst possible death in prison and I hope the judge who gave that man custody never sleeps another night without seeing the face of that child. I want to burn our family court system to the ground.

I tried to leave my abuser once when my son was about three months old. His dad (my son’s grandfather) ripped my $2,000 hospital grade pump from my arms and said I couldn’t take it since his son had paid for it. I had so engrained into me I was a failure if I didn’t minimize

Giving your baby formula for your own “mental health” is mental, lazy and selfish. If you aren’t producing, fine. If they aren’t latching, there’s way to get help for that or pump & bottle. But refusing them adequate nutrition & antibodies just because is ridiculous.

The thing about having grown up poor is when your ex father in law offers you $500,000 to move back in with your abuser you can honestly look them in the eyes and say you’d rather live in the trailer park. Because you have. And it was fine.

I remember feeling so ashamed when two weeks after our marriage he was screaming at me to get the f out of our house because I dropped something and it broke. I was pregnant, embarrassed, and he had been putting things on my credit card so resources were slim. Ty for sharing.

I hate the thought of this woman seeing this. She may be literally fighting for her life through depression and getting dressed and going to work was overcoming a mountain of difficulty. She may have been pregnant in this picture and have been ordered to bed rest the majority of

There’s a man at my gym who brings his wife that has clearly had a stroke and will take twenty minutes patiently helping her get on the elliptical and then stand beside her so she can work out. I tear up every time I see them do this slow dance. I’ve spent a lot of time
