    No,this actually shows your complete ignorance of the situation on the ground. Someone disgracefully fired from his own gov’t for leaking national security info has no business meddling in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation.Supporting secession only adds insult to injury.

    This shows a complete lack of understanding of the political reality on the ground. It's important for junior ministers to listen to Parliament as it is the role of Parliament to have a say on policy. Yesterday showed there is a broad consensus for UK Gov to recognise Somaliland.

    Today, I have arrived at Bosaso city to hold meetings with different groups of my constituency as I vie for the Parliamentary Seat HOP#169. Closely listening to the views of the elders, youth groups, women & civil society organizations will enable me to better serve their needs.

    As a Presidential Candidate, @Saidabdullahide should recuse himself from all election related issues & immediately stop meddling in the affairs of electoral technical committees. We can no longer silently watch the blatant disregard for democratic integrity by PL administration.

    I strongly condemn the targeted attack today in #Bosaso on key clan elders, members of my team & security personnel. The elders came to participate in the electoral process taking place here. The attack comes after they expressed concerns about irregularities in the process.

    While the arbitrary prosecution of journalists has become the norm in PL, today, heavy machine guns & live bullets were used against unarmed civilians peacefully protesting in Dhahar. It is unacceptable & @SaidAbdullahiDe must be held directly accountable. bit.ly/3vYoVZ6

    Today I met with the leadership of the INGOs operating in Somalia. I informed them of the Gov’t decision to have all INGOs fully & physically present in Somalia including their senior leadership effective from January 1, 2019. Failure to comply will result in de-registration.
