- Well thatโs @ColinBruce1980 had his last day with our great pupils and staff. I think there was the hint of a wee tear.! On to his next chapter where we are sure he will be a great success. Best wishes from all @AlloaAcademy
- We are finalists in the Scottish Education Awards! Alloa Academy has reached the final 3 in the category 'Children and Young People's Participation Award' for the Pupil Led Enquiry - A youth-led approach to school improvement led by Mrs McNeil. Good luck for the finals!

- Many congratulations to Mrs Thomson of @AlloaAcademy who was presented with a British Empire Medal earlier today. Lord Lieutenant for Clackmannanshire, Johnny Stewart did the honours in front of our S6 students along with @MrMcGuckinHT and @ColinBruce1980

- We are very proud of our World Champion Luca. He is just off the plane from Thailand and came to see @ColinBruce1980 to share his success at the Asian Pacific Games. Luca was with the Scottish National Kickboxing Team and won the Gold in Glory and Silver in the K1. ๐
- Rachel and Lewis were amazing today. They shared their important messages of peace and the horrors of war to S4/5/6. Well done ๐๐ This is following their visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust with @NicolaSturgeon.
- Ceremony held today to award 2020 School Dux to Danielle Mellon and Proxime Accesit to Kyle Gillespie. Congratulations to both, worthy winners! #ambition
