Today is my final day at The Daily Record. I’ve decided to move into a career outside of journalism for a variety of reasons. I’m so thankful for this community I’ve gotten to know and love over the past 5 years. Wayne County is home for me now. Excited to see what’s next.

As a Liberty journalism grad and former Champion editor, seeing the admin try to make the school newspaper a PR tool helped me discern how much I liked journalism and how much I disliked PR. It’s been a constant frustration for the staff for years.
