- Oh dear I must get my Legacy story right. I always thought the British partitioned Ireland by force and coercion. I thought the Unionist Govt ruled by systemic discrimination and political exclusion enforced by B Specials and RUC. And civil righters beaten of the streets????

- More SF members were assassinated during the conflict than other parties put together. Yet Fionnuala O’Connor can’t mention even one in this article. I’m not sure if I’m more angry or sickened. But it tells me more about the author.
- I took this photo at Easter commemoration in late 1970s. The young ppl were on top of the bus depot opposite Milltown cemetary. Shots had just been fired. Often wonder where they are 40 yrs on?
