Breaking: Russian aviation hit in a significant way again - this time, by Bermuda. Bermuda revokes the licenses of 745 Russian aircraft (that’s 50% of Russia’s airline fleet). Note: Majority of aircraft flying for Russian airlines are registered in Bermuda for tax avoidance.

UK government confirm tonight that if a person has been vaccinated in Africa, or South America, or countries including UAE, India, Turkey, Jordan, Thailand, Russia… …you are considered “unvaccinated” and must follow “unvaccinated” rules ⛔️ = 10 day home quarantine & tests

Understanding, MULTIPLE countries are not happy with UK government tonight 😬 One foreign minister tells me: “In our first meeting with Liz Truss, UK new Foreign Secretary, we expect her to explain why our Pfizer jabs are supposedly different to Pfizer jabs in UK or Europe” 🔥

In addition - foreign leasing companies want their jets back from Russia by 28 March. Russian airlines “simply not answering the phone” one lessor tells me, as they prepare to ‘write off’ dozens of multi-million dollar airline jets that could be “essentially gone for good”

Claiming @flyethiopian is an airline with a “poor safety record” because of hijacking attempts over last 20 years is irresponsible. By that logic, American Airlines, United & Air France are also airlines with, quote “poor safety records” #ET302 #737MAX

Quick one: This is not ‘Boris Johnson’s plane’ — it’s a British Airways Boeing 777 with hundreds of passengers onboard (and one of them happens to be a law-breaking former PM still under investigation, one that was removed from office 3 months ago following a string of scandals)

Quite something for UK to take such a stance against so many countries vaccine rollouts…especially those countries administering the *exact same* vaccines as UK (Pfizer/AZ/Moderna/etc) 🤔 As we’ve come to expect, UK’s latest travel policy is as unnecessarily complicated as ever

Is it any wonder why the UK is suffering one of worst in the world with #COVID19? English band ‘Right Said Fred’ brag about refusing to wear a mask at Heathrow, claims staff applauded move & for “speaking out on Covid” BOTH Heathrow + BA reply, saying it’s ‘great to hear’?!?!

Deeply concerning incident at Africa’s largest airline — Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 #ET343 was still at cruising altitude of 37,000ft by the time it reached destination Addis Ababa Why hadn’t it started to descend for landing? Both pilots were asleep. avherald.com/h?article=4fd1…
