    Huge News! Our baseball field has been awarded NHSBCA Region 4 Field of the Year. Only 8 awarded in the country & we are 1 of them. We will find out at the banquet in December if we are fortunate enough to be selected National HS Field of the Year. Earned NOT given! Thank you!!!

    First day our infield grass has seen the day of light since November. I would say our fertilizer program thanks to Brian French @AdvancedTurf, grow tarp and all of the hard work paid off!!!! I honestly teared up when I pulled the grow tarp and saw the color!

    What an extreme honor it was for me this morning administering senior Mike Ferrito physical fitness assessment for admission into the United States Air Force Academy. Words can’t begin to describe how proud I am of him for the hardwork he has put into chasing after his dream!

    One of the things I admire & respect most about Vanderbilt Baseball HC Tim Corbin is how he is such a great builder & leader of men. He truly cares about positively impacting other people’s lives & he uses baseball as a platform to do that. Here is an example of that from camp.

    Alder 2 London 0 Greg Kennedy tosses a PERFECT GAME with 10 K’s in one of the best pitching performances in program history!!!! Ashton Martin with 2 hits, a huge 2B & RBI. Garrett Roach with a huge 2 out run scoring hit. Greg Kennedy with 2 hits. Now 26-2 & DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!

    The definition of what it means to be a “COMPETITOR!” A starting pitcher with only 2 days off basically says to his manager whatever it takes & pitches the 9th inning in a game 5 elimination game to earn his first career save! Kids this is what a “DUDE” truly is or looks like!!!

    What a great day at Huntington Park with my son Austin! He says as we are walking out "I can't wait to play here for Alder, Dad." I love it!
