- Fyffe is 139-6 in the last ten seasons with 7 championships. More titles than losses. Unbelievable to say the least. Congratulations to Coach Benefield and the Red Devils.
- I don't think many fans will wish to argue who is the best team in 6A right now.
- Half way through the decade and a look at the programs with the most victories across the state. Any surprises here?

- Ok I'll say it. It's something I rarely do. Anyone who believes NIL and non restrictive transfers is good for high school football is only thinking about how they can benefit from it. And I'm not talking about the kids or coaches. It sure has worked well at the college level.
- Waiting for this reclassification is worse than waiting to find that Calhoun vs. Central Hayneville score on a Friday night in October so I can go the bed.
- It's Tuesday of the first round of the Alabama high school football playoffs and our only wish for the week is that all players are eligible and we have no last minute forfeitures for any reason. Good luck to every team. No drama, just football.
- We added 609 more All-State players to our files today. In total we have documented 30,172 different football players who have made an All-State Team since the Birmingham News first selected a team back in 1921. Congratulations to all the named players for 2023.
- It seems the Ft Payne Times newspaper thought it was ok to plagiarize our HS playoff previews word for word and print a page and a half of them in the paper. No recognition to AHSFHS.org at all. What you think I should do?
