Haldiram's telling me their fried moong dal has 20gm of protein is makes me laugh. Brother, I'm not eating it for the protein. I'm eating to fill the void in my heart on a Friday night. Given your palm oil use, maybe voids are physically getting filled with cholesterol.

The yellow in Van Gogh paintings came from cows in Bihar which were only fed mango leaves. That turned their urine to bright yellow which was collected, dried & created a pigment called 'Indian yellow'. Puts the sunflowers in perspective now doesn't it?

Even the most progressive of Indian parents will show their true colors at the end. Daughters can be educated. They can be independent. They can excel. But not so much that their independent thought is different from the parent's thought. ++

While hiring, I mail rejected candidates w/ feedback on strengths, improvements, why it's a no & asking if I can refer them to other roles. It takes 10 mins. The love I got was outsize. Hell, I was treating people the way I want to be treated. Hiring managers must do better.

I met someone on bumble who became a friend He knew I wasn't doing well & knew I try to sight comets & fail He tracked the ISS over days till it was visible above the horizon, called & guided me & we watched it pass across the sky on call So yes, your paramour can text you back

Most single women post 30 seem to have become fiercely independent, have plenty of hobbies, very confident, have great presence, full of life & generally a can do attitude. Downright inspiring. Most single men post 30, in the same highly educated, high performing in their 20s ++

Got turned away from a restaurant for a table for 1, even though there were some table for 2s & 4s & no waiting outside. Now it's a small, popular space & I get the commercial considerations but this did make me feel a bit bad in what has been an angry week. Reclaim table for 1s!

Every single time a cashier asks me "madam will tapping work?" when I give my card for payment, I reply "no, you have to insert it" & then I laugh. 😇 I do this knowing full well, in reality, it's actually opposite for most women.

This is straight from Silicon Valley when Anton 2.0 deletes the whole company codebase because it was told to find and eliminate bugs. So it deleted the codebase then there would be no bugs. Wow that TV show keeps on giving.
