Botswana, Eritrea & Libya have never borrowed from the IMF while the top 5 borrowers from Africa (Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Angola & Kenya) owe IMF about $32B, representing about 40% of total Africa's IMF debts.

Interesting Data: Did you know that In 2023,Africans spent €56.3mn on visa application fees to the EU that were rejected. The number of visas refused represents 43.1% of the total number of applications rejected. However, EU visas fees will increase from June from €80 to €90.

Africa’s 2024 GDP forecasts vs Actuals so far in 2024 Africa is widely forecast to grow faster in 2024 than 2023. How are they doing so far relative to earlier forecasts for 2024? Only 4 have announced GDP estimates for Q1 2024 & of this 4 only Mozambique is so far on target
