    Hi all, this is Ady’s wife, Rachael. I’m devastated to share the news that Ady has died from complications of ALS. You probably knew Ady as a healthcare activist. But more importantly he was a wonderful dad and my life partner for 18 years. [1/4]

    I got to do genuine childcare yesterday. For fifteen minutes, I held her while the rest of the family ate dinner. Pretty fulfilling. I didn't know if I would ever get that chance.

    I just learned that last night after the Senate vote, peaceful protesters in the gallery were telling personal stories about how this bill will hurt them and their families. And Republican Senators were laughing at them. It explains everything. They do not see our humanity.
