Harris County Commissioner #Precinct2. Former Sheriff, HTX Council Member & 30yr LEO vet. Believer of people & our future! For on the job updates: @HarrisCoPct2
Overturning Roe v Wade is shameful. Disrespectful. Appalling. Amoral. History will show this decision, if final, is wrong on the law, wrong on human rights, wrong on decency – just plain wrong.
Sandeep would never allow me to say this to you, he would want me to be tolerant of you but under the circumstances I can’t help but to tell you that you are an absolute fool!
I have nothing to say about the repeated outbursts at Commissioners Court or on social media. My years of experience in public service have taught me the political arena requires the ability to not take things personally.
The family of @JacksonLeeTX18 has shared that she now serves us at a higher/greater place. I’ve known her for about 40yrs and always appreciated that she took time to attend my wedding 32yrs ago. I’m grateful for her service but most importantly for her strength and friendship.😢
Grateful to Harris County Justice of the Peace Joe Stephens for coming to my home on this evening to conduct my swearing in at 12:01am. It was special because it was at home with my family. I am honored to be given the privilege to serve all the citizens of HC Precinct 2! 🙏🏼😊
I wish Judge Hidalgo the best with everything as she deals with family issues. As I’ve told every elected leader I’ve served with and anyone working in any of the organizations I’ve led - family comes first. I wish the Judge and her family my best, and they are in my prayers.🙏🏽
Almost in tears to have my daughter in town, which is as awesome as it gets, but to have her prepare an amazingly delicious dinner! No I wasn’t surprised on how good it tasted rather because it was her hands that prepared it! An early Happy Father’s Day to all those Pops! 🙏🏼😊
