First walk this morning after surgery.
I am strong.
I can do hard things.
I am a walking miracle.
Be thankful for today - little improvements make the biggest strides.❤️

- tearing an athlete down is not the right answer ….. do better.
- No other place I’d rather be on my birthday then caring for my patients. Thank your healthcare workers ❤️ Cheers to chapter 17 with kickin ass, chasin dreams, and loving life.
- Can you believe it ?!?! 1 week post heart surgery and I am pitching (at 75%) BUT I am back doing what I love. God is a miracle and I can’t wait to be back on the field and in the weight room. ✝️❤️ @IABlitzGoldHess @mandygardner24 @CoachRGillispie @AbbyMecklenburg
- Today I wear red in honor of the battle I continue to fight - heart disease. CHD the number 1 killer in the United States, yet it will not take away mine. Heart survivors near and far thank you for the support as we continue to fight our battles, and remember those who have lost.
- Praise to all the healthcare workers. Today I saved one of my first lives when calling a MET, RRT, and Code Blue for a patient. When patient regained consciousness they asked what happened and I told them I saved there life. Proud moment. Saving lives one day at a time 💞🥹
- Take a minute to soak up the miracle you are looking at. The new spunky Addie J is comin’ on home 💥 Although recovery was a little more bumpy than expected….. Doc said to flee the nest and head on home. God worked miracles in me and my doctors hands these past couple days ❤️
- GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Christ us within me I will not fall. Grace, faith, and prayer gets me a long way in this never ending battle with heart disease. Watch out everyone 💥💥…. A new spunky Addie is on the arise. Keep the prayers coming through recovery ❤️ #CHDawareness
- After a long day and uneasy future ahead….. dad reminded me “for some reason God just picked you because he knew you were strong enough to handle this.” Many angles are watching over me and my army is SO FULL of support. Gods got me- he always and he has never failed me ❤️
- Reminder - CHANGE. IS. GOOD. A year ago I lost the love for this sport for many reasons. I decided it was time for a change to bring back the love I used to have for softball. Little me would be proud for embracing this change. Cheers to new beginnings and bigger things ….. 💕
- Crazy what 24 hours can do. Up at Mayo yesterday for lots of testing including tilt testing, PET scan and blood work (many needles….nothing new to me). Back in the gym for a 2 mile run, upper body lift, along with hitting and pitching today. Nothing can define my abilities 💪🏻💥
- Last week today…. I was leaving the hospital. Doctors cleared me today for physical activity….. although this was a slow mile, I am glad to be back. Lifting feels better than ever - CRAZY what a 4th valve can do for me ❤️🔥 2024 season can’t start soon enough @IABlitzGoldHess
- Tomorrow, I will be back up at Mayo Clinic. Praying for healing and answers as I finally get to meet with my awesome team of doctors to rule things out. I continue to hear this little girls voice in my head saying, “you can do hard things”❤️ Smiles and prayers. Gods got this ‼️
- Took a leap of faith this summer to play travel softball. Little did I know I’d meet some of my best friends. ❤️ I don’t trade this decision for anything. Although the game is fun, it has given me the best sisters I will ever have and teachers me so much more about life.
