It’s a privilege to be a Hall of Fame voter. Here’s my ballot, which I always make public (but don’t debate).

It's now July 1. That means another $1.19 million in Bobby Bonilla's bank account. Every year until 2035.

Got it. Good night! But if you can find it in your heart to vote for NYIT in this Twitter poll, we'd appreciate it. Down 890 votes and closing. Deadline is midday Wednesday. x.com/ECCSports/stat…

Then there was the time that the Mets agreed to trade Brandon Nimmo to the Reds for Jay Bruce, and the Reds at the last minute switched it to Dilson Herrera over medical concerns.

Going to paraphrase, but Josh Thole had the best #Mets-related explanation for canceling his Twitter account. Basically said he has people telling him he sucks three hours a day at the ballpark. Doesn't need it the other 21 hours a day on social media too.

Ray Ramirez out as trainer with Mets.

David Wright was my favorite professional athlete to cover during a two-decade career in that business. Better person than ballplayer.
