- When you don’t run the floor or defend...it shows you’re not competitive. When you over dribble or force bad shots...it shows you’re either selfish or have a low feel for the game. When you roll your eyes, yell at your teammates or the officials...it shows character concerns.
- The NBA prospect that everyone is talking about this morning - Zvonimir Ivisic. Kentucky’s 7-2 Croatian“Big Z” had 13pts (5-7 FG, 3-4 3pt) 5reb, 3blk, 2stl, & 2ast in 16min in his debut. (And the crowd reaction & commentary added to the entertainment value)

- The hard reality of coaching a highly talented young player...if you tell them the truth, you risk losing them. Kudos to those who do it anyway!

- Stop calling high school kids pros! It's not helpful to that young person's future. There's a long line of players who were led to believe the NBA was a foregone conclusion early on...and never ended up making it.

- On the portal... This is not only unsustainable, it is also bad for graduation rates, the well-being of coaches, and the quality of the game. There's a way to give the players fair market value without this type of mass chaos.
