Album cover with sheep in a field, black and white. A lamb stands in the center, the side of the lamb is painted in red, letters say "NO". The lamb is the only part of the picture in color. There is a parental advisory sticker in the bottom right.

I was brought up to believe it literally. Private Christian school. Our junior high science book said evolution was "as likely as a tornado hitting a junkyard and assembling a working Boeing 747".

    $400 Billion Broadband Scandal

By the end of 2014, America will have been charged about $400 billion by the local phone incumbents, Verizon, AT&T and CenturyLink, for a fiber optic future that never showed up. And though it varies by state, counting the taxes, fees and surcharges that you have paid every month (many of these fees are actually revenues to the company or taxes on the company that you paid), it comes to about $4000-$5000.00 per household from 1992-2014, and that's the low number.

You were also charged about nine times to wire the schools and libraries via state and federal plans designed to help the phone and cable companies.

That's a good one! They were obsessed with the man/monkey link. This confused me because surely some of these adults had been to a zoo...the chimp enclosure worked just like our school playground. Even from a creationist stance, it seemed obvious God had made some rough drafts.

The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel van der Kolk reveals how trauma changes the way the brain works. Instead of using a disease model he looks at PTSD as an adaptation. He also lays out how schools are cutting the exact programs that help traumatized students learn.

Mom def in "pleading with school principal not to suspend her son" mode; needs legal counsel. She should not be giving quotes on her son "getting out of hand" but this is what normal people do as a way to make nice...sadly it's the opposite of what will actually help (quiet).
