- 55 years ago today our village was struck by a disaster, that should never have happened. 116 children and 28 adults were stolen from their families. Our thoughts today as always are with the families who lost loved ones and the survivors throughout our village.
- Our wonderful village- 56 years ago our village changed forever. A disaster that should never have happened that broke the hearts of so many families. Our village is a fantastic community and that will help and support families today.
- 57 years ago our village was left heartbroken. Something that should never have happened that ripped an entire village apart.Our thoughts not just today as always go out to the families still grieving, the survivors of the disaster and the community as whole. ❤️❤️❤️
- On this day tragedy struck in our village.. We think as we do everyday of the 116 children and 28 adults who lost their lives in the disaster. As a club we will paying our respects on Saturday at our home game with a minute silence.Gone but never forgotten. 💔🌹😇😢

- Today we took on @CwmbachRS in a hard fought game. We managed to come away with a 2-0 win with goals for @luketarr3. Which now means Aberfan social are promoted to SWAL D1. Say we are going up.......
- Reading emails and posts clubs asking for 2 weeks off due to the death of the queen don’t understand why no need a minute silence before the match to show our respect from both clubs then a pint after the game 🍺
