00:11It's that time of year again! 🛣️ - These things work like a charm ✨ - If you have heavy images in your sites, convert them to WebP (up to 90% smaller) using squoosh.app - If you have GIFs on your pages convert them to WebM (~ 5% of the previous size) and make it autoplay video-tag. #PerfMatters
Tip: Replace large animated GIFs with <video> for faster page loads: bit.ly/gif-mp4. A lot of sites (Google blogs included) could shave 80-90% off the size of these downloads by doing this. - I built a micro-rollup... Using @0xStackr SDK and one of the few *million* Javascript libraries online. It is a game of chess that represents the flexibility of the SDK to handle varying types of app states.
