Islamist is a slur used by those who hate the existence of Muslims to sound less vile.

Any imam who has sexually abused anyone - especially a child - must be hung out to dry. No cover. NO EXCUSES. No sympathy. No legacy. Nothing. They have betrayed Allah and His messenger. Period. Legal action and permanent banishment in this life. Allah's judgement in the next

Why are people blaming 2020 for things? This is a practice of jahiliyyah. Allah says in a hadith qudsi, "The children of Adam blaspheme me by cursing time, whereas I am the time (i.e. the owner of it). All things are in My Hands, I turn the night and day." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Stop spreading lies of beheading babies or rape of little girls. It’s been debunked. No one is celebrating the murder of Israeli babies. Palestinians are mourning the death of their babies. It’s incredible how Israel sympathizers simultaneously are the oppressor and the victim.

Universities are places where people should be able to ask questions about active war crimes, regardless of who commits them. 1/2

Instead as believers we say, (قُل لَّن یُصِیبَنَاۤ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ) "Say, ‘Only what God has decreed will happen to us. He is our Master: let the believers put their trust in God.’" (9:51)

My sister in law who lives in Sauga had a cop parked outside her house for over an hour. All they had were people driving by and dropping off gifts. Ridiculous double standards.

Blaming a year for bad as if it's a bad omen could mean one of three things: 1) The year is somehow responsible for what's happening in it. 2) The year is a bad omen. 3) Blaspheme God as He is the one who runs all affairs. All three are unacceptable and unbecoming.

What a daft fool. Subhan Allah what has this guy turned the Shariah into? Has he not read the Qur'an that describes the punishment of the murderer as eternal in hellfire (Surah Nisa)? Does he not know the consensus on difference between personal sins v. crimes harming others?

I love it when Daniel @Haqiqatjou takes on the atheists. He's so well-read on science, philosophy and logic that clowns like @ApostateRidvan don't stand a chance. I'd say there's few people better than DH to take on the atheists. I pray he recognizes this and focuses on this.

I insist on an official marriage license (issued by the city, registered in the province) before presiding over a marriage ceremony. My reasons are: 1) Protection from "secret" marriages/affairs 2) Firmer commitment 3) Both have some leverage in case of divorce, esp the woman

No amount of education can prepare you for working with a masjid board. It takes a special group of people to show appreciation and insult you simultaneously 😅

When I exposed Cringe Apostate with the help of @Farid_0v, there were a bunch of self-righteous, self-appointed mutawwa on MT who publicly supported Cringe, accusing me of malpractice.
Mohammed Hijab gives the enemies of Islam a taste of their own medicine and most of MT ends up siding with the murtads Jokers

Academic freedom is the foundation of university life, and vigorous debate and trenchant analysis is a cornerstone of this freedom and of a robust democracy. I am currently considering all legal options available to me. 2/2

This series by @jimalkhalili was one of the best shows I've ever watched, really transformative in many ways. This clip is just 🔥

Dr. Rim Turkmani and Jim al-Khalili discover the little-known location of Ibn al-Shatir's sundial on an outside ledge of one of the minarets of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus. Ibn al-Shatir heavily influenced Copernicus.
