    If you think being a coach is strictly teaching athletes the sport please give me a call! I will tell you how today went. I was an advisor, financial aid, housing, etc..then you have that one player that says “coach you was right” Me: I was right 250 days ago you didn’t listen

    Me & my team had a nice heart to heart meeting & I told them something that one of my mentors & previous coach @Coach_Nic_ told me “If I’m only focused on your basketball skills & not helping you grow as a better person I’m not doing my job” I believe they got the message
