- Homie took my “invent a fish” competition a little too seriously and just made a new fish wtf

- Did the name 100 women challenge followed by the name 100 fish species challenge. It took me 8x longer to name the women. I would like to apologize to women.

- One of the worst things about living in a politicized society is that there are millions of people here in the USA who love nature/wildlife, and want to conserve it in their own ways. Talented people. But they'd never work with me because I say trans rights are human rights.
- Ive determined that my audience can be split into three distinct groups: 1) Teen to young adult, always had a « love » for nature. Thinks they should’ve studied science, or plans on doing so 2) Actual scientists 3) Literal middle of nowhere gun owning fishermen hunters in camo
- People have always asked me, “why study fish?” Life is about doing what you love, and I can honestly say I love fish, and I love all the people I meet because of it. Malaysia was wonderful.
- Just found out someone I live with actually believes the megalodon might still exist. All my work was for nothing. There is no reason in the world.
- Apparently stopping invasive species is animal racism?… possibly the worst understanding of science I’ve witnessed
