Went with my partner upstate and the AirBnB host's cat took us for a guided hike along the Appalachian trail. Apparently this is what she does with every guest. She would complain when we took a wrong turn off the trail and knew the way back. Amazing cat. Would apocalypse with.

I love my lil hand made agarose gel transilluminator. Really proud that I circumvented a really shitty patent essentially owning the idea of "perpendicular illumination". Well, it's all freehand and no PCBs or glass lenses so take a hike. Will make for anyone. $64 + shipping!

I wish biology undergrad curricula had more statistics. Every bio major should have 2 semesters of bioinformatics with applied statistics. Learning basic R before graduating would be stupidly powerful.

Here is an alternative to BioRender that is TRULY FREE and actively maintained. Over 1500 vectorized images sorted by license type (all creative commons or MIT). Fully editable icons and soon they will launch an Inkscape library. Please RT.
