Got a fare check on my ride to downtown St. Paul today. About 5 community service officers and metro transit police got on. Cop offered anyone who hadn’t paid to hop off before they gave out tickets. About 7 people shuffled out.

I am back in Minnesota, and thrilled to be restarting work @SahanJournal today. I am returning to the climate/environmental justice beat and look forward to reporting those stories again.
A personal update: my time with @SahanJournal has ended. I joined Sahan on a year long grant with a goal of creating a beat on climate and environmental justice. I hope we did that and I am proud of the issues we covered. It was an amazing opportunity and I am grateful for it.

No demolition will occur next week, EPNI will be given two weeks to raise a bond. Judge asks EPNI lawyers to request expedited review from the appeals court.
Happening now at City Council, CM Jason Chavez introduces motion to terminate contract to demolish the Roof Depot building. Protestors from Little Earth marched to the council chambers this morning.
