- This weekends NFL playoff games created a unique situation for the (209) area. Two Stockton area players will be playing in the Super Bowl on the same team. Both former Lincoln High Trojans WR Brandin Cooks & RB Justin Davis will try to win the biggest football game in world.
- The word has been passed down. In a recent article from Maxpreps they have selected Edison High Vikings Running Back Raleek Brown as the third best back in the entire State of California. This after one season of playing varsity as a Freshman.
- St.Marys Football and Track and Field stud Joe Fontes receives his first official offer from Yale!!!!
- Pssst.... Dont tell anybody but two of the Nations fastest high school 110m high hurdlers in the live right here in San Joaquin Country. St. Mary's Jamar Marshall ran a State and National best time of 13.50 while running against West West High's Warren William's who ran 13.55 .
- Did you know that the Edison High has produced more NFL players than any other school in the (209)??? Great history
- This is East Union RB Raylen Carter. He ran for 272 yards on SIX CARRIES against the Ceres Bulldogs. Keep an eye on the Lancers this year!!!
- ASD Sports Media concludes our salute to local area high schools by honoring the Edison High Vikings who have had 15 players play in the NFL. That is the second most of any NorCal school behind Berkeley High. Here are the names of those greats.
