    It is difficult to understand why @Nature publishes papers like this nature.com/articles/s4158… whose title promises much but which in the end is, simply, a data set with little insight & a number of misleading statements.

    You may not have heard of Antonio Garcia Bellido BUT he is at the root of the link between genes with cell lineage and activity through mosaic analysis in #Drosophila; a classic, a pioneer of modern #DevBio, someone who saw the value/need of reconstructing to learn.

    Remarkable @bioRxiv study of early human embryos spatial transcriptomics bit.ly/3N2yBg5. One can quibble whether CS12 is PCW3 , it is really more like week 4 but extremely important work nonetheless. So much to look at and to think @! #HumanEmbryos coming into focus
