To parents of youth pitchers, Please stop telling your kids to push off with their back leg. That cue alone has caused so many kids be terrible at rotating. While we’re at it, let’s keep all the mechanical advice to a minimum. In almost all cases it does more harm than good.

I see a lot of people on twitter ripping people for using a radar gun on young kids. I use a radar with every youth player I work with. You know why? Bc they absolutely love it, and baseball is supposed to be fun. Keep chuckin’ and having fun little guys and girls.

From highA two years ago, recovering from his second TJ surgery, to closing game 1 of the playoffs for the #1 seed in the AL. Most people would have given him a 0.0% chance to even make it to the show. Unbelievable story of hard work and perseverance.
First postseason experience, first postseason save. Pete Fairbanks closed the door for @RaysBaseball.

So excited for @AdamKilburn2. Told me 6 months ago Tennessee was his dream school. Worked extremely hard and made it happen for himself. Best news ever.
Want to give a huge thanks to my man @AMarks27 for all he has done for me and the work to come. As well as the @stlgamers organization for the best opportunity’s possible throughout the years. Couldn’t thank you enough. @Vol_Baseball Let’s roll! #GBO 🍊

2021 Johnson County CC commit ⁦@cole_koonce⁩ sitting 92-94 in his pen today.Topping 94.3 and going JUCO. Don’t be obsessed with Division 1 , find the right fit for you and go dominate. ⁦⁦@mach1baseball⁩ ⁦@EBA_MADE⁩ ⁦@FlatgroundApp⁩ ⁦@KingofJUCO

Huge Congrats to @bjorn_dane1 on his commitment to @MizzouBaseball ! Great example of what hard work can do. Going from an average player at 13, falling in love with training, and becoming an absolute stud at age 15 going to pitch in the SEC!

These two pitched against each other yesterday, combined for 22ks and 2 ER . 24 hours later in the gym together getting after their recovery. The best players don’t stop training once the season starts. @bjorn_dane1 @cole_koonce @mach1baseball @EBA_MADE

First day of HS tryouts and already got a text from a player saying he was 84-86 and threw great. Pumps me up. He is a 2022 who was topping 76 in October. Completely bought in to @EBA_MADE lifting program and worked his tail off all winter at @mach1baseball

Think I’d rather have this than the pitchers who give high fives to kids rounding the bases after they hit a homerun 😂
This dude hit a go-ahead home run, the pitcher then turns into a middle linebacker and LEVELS him 😳

One of my favorite things to see at work. 2020 ⁦@MizzouBaseball⁩ commit ⁦@ianlohse23⁩ showing 2023 ⁦@jacksonbudz⁩ his slider grip and going through how he throws it at ⁦@mach1baseball⁩ last night .

And after he threw today, he stood and gave High School and college hitters advice about swings and approach while facing Velo. Not because they asked, just because he’s that kind of guy. No surprise why he’s had such a successful career @TrevRosenthal
Getting close...90% effort mound work. Increasing volume and intensity these last few weeks before heading south.

A lot of players will find excuses to not get work in during this tough time. It’s no surprise that some of my best ones have continued to work and find ways to get stuff done. Don’t let the last 6 months of work go to waste, it doesn’t take long to lose everything U worked for

In September of 2017, when Ian Lohse started training at @mach1baseball, his long term goal was to be able to throw in the 80s off the mound. In 2.5 years, he is now sitting low 90s, and has struck out 35 of 41 batters he’s faced this summer. He has worked harder than any kid
