- I don’t often say this but if The Boss were still around, Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman would be fired after this game.
- One thing you can always count in a Red Sox-Yankees series is that Alex Cora will always out-manage Aaron Boone. One day the Yankees may pitch around Devers.
- Boone is such a bad manager. Has no feel for the game. No way should Michael King have come out of that game. Rays Kevin Cash and Red Sawx Alex Cora run circles around Boone and these Yankee nerds.
- How bad was Grandal yesterday: Legendary Brewers announcer Bob Uecker, a former major league catcher with the Milwaukee Braves who has made a career of mocking his own baseball inability, cracked on the Brewers radio network, “Grandal is stealing all my records.’’
