Today in 1887, working class anarchists were executed in Chicago. The Haymarket Martyrs were framed for a bombing by authorities for supporting workers striking for the 8-hour day. May we remember them, and remember the violence the state perpetuates against those who resist.
Engraving by English Arts and Crafts illustrator Walter Crane of "The Anarchists of Chicago" featuring a woman holding a banner that reads, "The Anarchists of Chicago" next to 8 drawn headshots of those who were murdered and exiled. Text at the bottom reads 1886 Haymarket.

Most of us are probably on the same page here, but just in case... Please do not donate to any political party or politician. Direct any monetary support to abortion care workers, abortion doulas, bail funds in your local area, incarcerated people, and street medics.
