    We are aware of misinformation that a number of children are being hospitalized at Alberta's Children's Hospital with adverse events following their COVID-19 vaccination. At this time, AHS has not had any pediatric hospitalizations related to COVID-19 vaccination. 1/4

    AHS is extremely disappointed with planned protests outside some of its healthcare facilities. We have no tolerance for intimidation or bullying of our patients, AHS staff or physicians, and find such behaviour abhorrent.

    Physicians and staff in some of our Edmonton Zone ICUs are receiving harassing phone calls to their units from people questioning patient numbers and capacity. It is unacceptable for anyone to harass our staff and physicians – it’s never acceptable and it’s unfathomable now. 1/3

    AHS is aware of individuals on social media claiming to have booked multiple COVID-19 vaccination appointments in an attempt to prevent other Albertans from receiving their dose. We've shared with law enforcement & are ensuring participating pharmacies are aware of these claims.
