- Deeply disturbed & offended by this photo of 3 armed Ole Miss students posing in front of a memorial for Emmett Till - lynched by white supremacists more than 60 years ago. @TheJusticeDept should promptly open a civil rights investigation into the matter. propublica.org/article/ole-mi…

- We are horrified by the apparent act of terror that took place on Bourbon Street in the early hours of this morning. Our hearts are with all the victims, their families and the entire New Orleans community.

- We welcome the news of the indictment of 5 officers involved in the death of #RonaldGreene. Communities should be vigilant and always demand transparency from law enforcement. No person should endure this treatment by people charged to ensure their safety.
- It is outrageous and completely unacceptable that attorneys for the #StateofArkansas introduced statements comparing necessary health care to Nazi experiments while defending the discriminatory ban on #genderaffirmingcare. They should immediately withdraw the statements.
- The heinous details about the violent and racist torture of two Black men by a self-titled “Goon Squad” of white Mississippi police officers are absolutely horrifying and unconscionable.
- .@LAStatePolice’s “pain compliance” used on Ronald Greene & Aaron Bowman is indefensible. As @TheJusticeDept investigation into the brutal incidents continues, our thoughts remain with the families & people of Louisiana who deserve & demand accountability.
- Arkansas is just one of four states without a #hatecrime law but it could have the notoriety of being the first to ban #genderaffirmingcare for trans youth. Governor @AsaHutchinson the nation is watching – veto this odious, dangerous and destructive bill.
