Memorial Day is a day to remember the service members who gave their lives for this country. Their dedication, duty, and sacrifice deserve our remembrance.
Let us pause for a moment of reflection today in their honor.
Criminal activity doesn't stop, and neither does our Regional Sideshow Enforcement Team. Follow Deputy Logan Finley and the task force as they conduct vehicle pursuits, recover firearms, and take into custody individuals engaged in unlawful activity in Alameda County.
Every first Tuesday in August, neighbors and law enforcement unite to build a safer, more welcoming community. Host a block party with music, cookouts, and visits from emergency personnel. Scan the QR code on the flyer to register for the ACSO NNO.
On May 7th, 2026, ACSO’s 185th Academy held a 5K Memorial Run & 2-Mile Walk to honor Detective Elizabeth Butler (Santa Cruz PD).
As we observe National Police Week, we remember the bravery of our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy. We will never forget.
Congratulations, 185th Academy graduates!
Today marks the beginning of a career built on service, leadership, & dedication. We are proud of your hard work & excited to see you help keep communities across the Bay Area safe.
Stay strong, stay committed, and lead with integrity.
Alameda County Office of Emergency Services, in partnership with local cities throughout Alameda County, will conduct a regional Alert and Warning Exercise on May 12, 2026. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…
We are committed to protecting our neighborhoods and roadways. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to identify, deter, and hold accountable those who engage in this dangerous and unlawful behavior.
Our Regional Sideshow Enforcement Team (RESET) will actively enforce all laws. Any vehicle involved in sideshow activity is subject to tow and seizure, including a mandatory 30-day hold as authorized by law.
ZERO TOLERANCE: SIDESHOW ENFORCEMENT
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward reckless driving and illegal sideshow activity. These events pose serious risks to public safety, endangering participants, spectators, and the community.
Your presence and contributions help these incredible individuals become active, contributing members of their communities. We hope to see you there to help make a difference one bucket at a time.
Please stop by to show your support for Special Olympics Northern California athletes. This community engagement raises vital funds to enrich the lives of athletes, helping them build confidence and leadership skills through sports and educational programs.
Join the Alameda County Sheriff's Office for the Badges with Buckets event tomorrow, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rowell's Saddlery and Western Wear in Castro Valley.
