Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was on the faculty of Rutgers Law School in Newark from 1963 to 1972. Her Rutgers students sparked her interest in gender discrimination and the law—the topic of the first case she argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.

- I am a Proud.Father. My 21 year old daughter, a recent Stockton grad, just got accepted at the London School of Economics graduate program. It’s an exciting big step for a young woman who was born at ARMC Mainland and went to college a half Mile away.
- Every major Atlantic City government decision is made in Trenton. Always behind doors. Often with casino lobbyists. Atlantic County needs to have a seat at the table. An open public table.
- Atlantic City is Walkable. True there are blocks you might.not to walk. But an effective Safe, Clean & Green program will open up the neighborhoods. Chelsea and Duck Town were designed for walking. Atlantic City has.good bones it just suffers from near criminal neglect.
- Millennials need public transit. Atlantic City needs millennials. Governor Murphy wants to help AC survive. Logic dictates that the state should be marketing ‘Take The Train to the Shore’. Not taking the train from the shore. NJ Transit must have huge operating issues.
- First AC gets stripped of it’s self governance. Now it’s being stripped of its Philadelphia rail connection at the height of summer. A strong independent mayor...say like Jim Whelan.... would be raising bloody hell. The optics of cutting off AC’S only mass transit sucks.
- My youngest daughter is spending next summer at the London School of Economics. My oldest daughter spent the summer after her Junior year in Ghana teaching at a school for deaf students. Their summer travel keep me stocked with Christmas t-shirts.
- It looks like the AC Cannabis Green Zone will have at a minimum 12 shops. In a town that can not get a WAWA open that’s no minor accomplishment.
- City Hall is going to take a pass on Blatstein’s Bader Field proposal. The plan calls for a substantial amount of new housing. City Hall is perfectly content w/ current voter mix. Understandably not excited about substantial new homeownership changing demographic.
- A Tourism District is not the place for Homeless Shelters, Food Kitchens & drug clinics' It is not the place for blocks of boarding houses and sidewalks of homeless. You can't provide 2/7 fun in the space you meet your obligations to the poor. You can't do both.
- Atlantic City has experienced total failure in resolving significant social issues. It’s a remarkable record of failure.. Publc Housing. Homeless. Drugs. Food Desert.. It is a failure woven in the very fabric of the city.
- I moved into Stockton student housing 47 years ago. 1st night we had no electricity. No phones. Little food. Faculty gave us flashlights and marshmallows. Today is my daughters Stockton move in day. She has her Apple, iPhone, iPad, & meal plan. Whole different world.
- “There's a fine line between genius and insanity”. Bart Blatstein’s Showboat Water Park is beginning to look like a win"
