Remains of a woolly mammoth and a woolly rhino dating back to the last ice age were found on the #A14C2H project last week, while excavating for construction materials near Fenstanton. The finds are at least 130,000 years old and were found by what was once an ancient river.

Can you picture the people going up and down its steps to get to the water at the bottom of the well? The ladder was found on the very last week of excavations at Field 44, an amazing way to conclude our work here. #A428BlackCat #FindsFriday
