    For everyone saying you need to play the best deck to win: FUCK and I cannot stress this enough THAT. Play the deck that brings you joy and you’ll want to sit down and play more games with. Doing something you enjoy is broken

    It still cracks me up that wizards thought the card counterspell would be too good for modern but a 2 mana planeswalker, 0 mana recurrable 8/8 tramples and Tolarian academy on a creature with a draw engine were totally fine.

    I’ve never seen the magic community less interested in current standard than they are right now. No one wants to play with throne anymore. I say we just unban all cards in standard and make the format chaos for the 3 months it has left! Welcome back King, you’ve been missed!

    I’ve never been less interested in playing with a magic set than I am for this D&D one. I just never got into D&D lore and asking me to add dice rolling as a very common occurrence on every card in my deck sounds awful for paper. Will probably barely touch this set honestly.

    Nope, expressive iteration and its not close. People really dont understand value over replacement. Ragavan is great but marginally better than the next best threat. EI is miles better than any other legal card draw spell (excluding the delve pair in pioneer)

    The real take I'm getting from this B&R announcement is that Pioneer is just being replaced by historic. 10 paragraphs of careful tuning to the historic metagame placed right above the throwaway paragraph about green being bad but the meta is healthy in pioneer sums it up well

    Oko is in actual every modern deck that can contort its mana to cast it at this point. Extremely sick of this card and would be happy to see it banned. If wotc printed playable removal spells for planeswalkers it might be fine, but attacking it down just isnt realistic
