    In looking at this year it has been a whirlwind especially with coaching. The past 12 years as a coach have been crazy; up and down and everything in between. Im blessed to have the support from all. I’m proud to announce that I was named 2019 Southwestern 4A Co-Coach of the Year

    Transparency: Had a college coach tell me that one of my athletes were not good enough for them. Reason to be upset - “NO”- I can handle rejection; just be upfront and honest. Good for the coach and good for the prospective athlete. PSA- Everyone doesn’t see from the same lens.

    PSA - Recruits If you are claiming 4.3/4.4 40’s that’s fine but just make sure Milesplit don’t show 11’s+ and 23s+. Somethings just don’t match.

    Parents realize most high school 🏈 teams don’t have 5-7 D1 kids on them. Most only have at most maybe 1-2 between all 4 classes. Just enjoy watching your son play a sport he loves…

    Understand athletes at the end of the day it’s bigger than football. Most colleges when they come in ask 3 things. 1. Can he play? 2. What are his grades ? 3. What type of kid is he ? ( most important ) Make sure you handle 2 and 3 so that number 1 has relevance. #realmen
