Today, I am being discharged from Duke. YES!! My numbers are up and scheduled to have weekly labs. There are many things I must continue to do. GOD has more work for me to with young players in baseball and in the community. My support team is AWESOME. #family
I never would’ve made it through this difficult journey without my family, my friends and the support of my players, but, most importantly, I want to thank God for giving me the strength to make it through!

Started round 3 of chemo this morning. Thought this would be it until the went into Bone marrow treatment but we were mistaken. I will have at least 2 more rounds as we await for a consultation with The Adult Bone Marrow clinic. Just want to keep everyone posted. 🙏
Prayers work!
Happy reborn day Donald Bennett. 12/17/2021. I did great. Stem cell transplant is complete. We will come back to clinic each day for 21-30 days for check ups and treatment but the hard part is done. Watch the video. It is really cool how it’s done.
