Worlds wrap up post! Was a great run, wish it could’ve gone a bit farther but really proud of how I played and the team. Turns out the top placing NA player doesn’t have to come from t75 🇺🇸 here is my run! Was a pleasure playing so many talented players.

Making the game more inaccessible is horrendous for the game. If people’s Pokémon stats are legit and it doesn’t alter game play at all, who cares how they got it. DQing people at worlds with suddenly stricter rules is such a bad look. So sorry to all who were affected.

Kyogre in finals losing due to missing origin pulse despite making amazing calls is just so perfect and incredibly painful. That poor archetype. You can have rain but you will never have consistency that the new legends have, and it will miss when you need it the most.

One gave us a (relatively) balanced likeable character with multiple forms of varying viability and the other gave us the most unbalanced unfun meta breaking bullshit we’ve ever had after a tower of boring battles. Not even in the same league.

Breeding/IVs/EV training/egg moves are all needlessly complex and also dependent on rng. It is intimidating for new players and stops people from joining the scene, as many in the comments have said. Stick to paying $8 a month tho you making all sorts of good decisions.

Very lame to make a player lose a Pokemon for just having a questionable nickname. Just have them change it. If it's not affecting gameplay (and doesn't even show up on stream) why is it worth a pokemon disqualification?
