Regardless of views on the Middle East every decent Australian must abhor these attacks on Jewish people. They’re not responsible for the Israeli government. They are Australians worshipping and socializing . Disgusting.

- Strange. The Senate has no power to censure Senator Thorpe we are told. So a footballer can be punished for ‘bringing the game into disrepute’ . A senator embarrasses the country and nothing can be done. Wrong .
- I am tiring of this perception that anybody who is comfortably off in life is somehow evil and has screwed people to get ‘rich’. Sone have, true. But most worked bloody hard and don’t deserve resentment .
- Wayne Swan, ALP president and head of a super fund, has sniped at people with strong super balances for ‘squirreling’ away money. This is the politics of envy. He should be congratulating such people for living without welfare . That’s the point of super.
