    8 years ago was one of the worst days of my life. Yet it's one that still has a long lasting affect on my family. We received so much assistance after. Thank you to everyone who helped and donated and volunteered with the fire. One day, I hope to have made up for what I received.

    For the past 6 months I have been picking up my neighbors newspaper and moving it from the top of her driveway down to her porch. She's an elderly widow, I'd guess in her mid 80's. Her driveway is fairly steep and I didn't want her in the winter to have to walk up and down. 1/17

    To top it off, about 6 months ago I wrote about a doctor I work with that played on the '51 championship team. Well guess who was close friends with BB Hopkins? My doctor. What a World. By the way, this is her grandmother and her family's house that she painted from memory. 17/17

    I work with a doctor that played on the '51 Vols championship team. He is a kind, caring, and gracious man. Today he told me he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 87. He also said he will give his all to defeat cancer. Whether you pray, hope, or think please do so for him.

    The Vols are 37-3. They have a 5 game lead in the SEC with 12 confrence games remaining. They are on pace to hit 130 home runs, they average 2.3 HR's per game. The pitching staff leads the nation in team ERA and WHIP. Enjoy the ride y'all. You'll never see this again.
