Yo, my sick-girl side hustle (since I spend a lot of time convalescing) is to hand-make rosaries. If you want a hand-made rosary from a disabled Catholic girlie, you can order one at my Instagram profile & help me afford all the medication my insurance doesn't cover. Thanks!

Today at my library job: *5th grade girl*: “I just finished reading Little Women and I loved it! Do you have any other books like it?!?” *Me*: “have you read *Anne of Green Gables*?” *Her*: “no” *Me*: “girl, I am about to change your life”

As a chronically ill person I’m terrified of wide-spread legalized assisted suicide because once that is enacted it is only a matter of time before the state stops offering assistance with my living/healthcare expenses & only starts offering to help me die
Let Canada's euthanasia experiment be a warning to the UK. • Euthanasia will not be limited. • Euthanasia will undermine suicide prevention efforts. • Euthanasia will devalue the lives of people with disabilities. • Euthanasia will threaten the doctor-patient relationship.

Please pray for a man, Sam, who had volunteered his time to help us with our ministry in the past. He was in a tractor accident today & may not make it through the night. If he does, he will surely need his legs amputated. He has a wife & children. Thank you.

They want us to believe that America runs on Dunkin’ But really America runs on the prayers of the 4 old ladies who stay after daily Mass every Friday to pray a Divine Mercy Chaplet for our nation.

Ugh. The worst thing about wanting to be an author is that someday people are actually gonna have to read the stuff you write.

Oh! Hi everyone, 👋 A lot of people are asking for an Amazon wishlist for my library (we’re a small, rural private school w/o ILL). While we don’t have a *ton* of shelf space for new books, I’ll post an Amazon wishlist link of the most-desired books here soon. Thanks in advance!

Half of my life as a lactose intolerant person is my friends saying: “Wait aren’t you lactose intolerant?” As I, with bare hands, bite off a massive chunk from a block of cheese and say with a dead-eyed stare: “So? What’s your point?”

I got a harcut recently and the stylist let me educate her over the history of Anglo-Saxon England and the Old English language while she trimmed my bangs and wow what a rush. You have done me a true service, madame.

Thinking about my friend who taught herself to say the Hail Mary in 10 different languages so when she prayed a rosary while doing tasks with her hands, she wouldn’t lose count of which Hail Mary she was in because she only used a language once per decade
